Library Summit is technically not a book cloth, but  a strong, durable paper substitute for traditional Buckram.  It is a paper product made from a latex saturated cellulose/nylon blend with an aqueous acrylic coating. The glazed finish makes it water and mildew resistant and ideal for menus, loose leaf binders, library books, or any similar items in need of extra protection.  (Note:  It can damage or tear if some care is not taken, for example, when using the point of a bone folder to form the grove along the spine edge.)

The buckram embossing pattern makes its appearance suitable for library bound books. It decorates beautifully with foil stamping, blind stamping, and screen printing.  Because it is a relatively stiff material, we suggest using a stronger adhesive, such as a hot glue or our PVA Jade.  We also recommend you order our  for exact colors and textures.
